In the Kitchen

The kitchen has been a hive of activity throughout the beginning of the year. A constant supply of our Cornish style pasties and both Jamaican and chicken curried patty’s leave the shelves as fast as they appear on them. Both of our pot pies (chicken and turkey) and the individual steak have proved as popular as ever.

We've also added a few “take out” options that are usually available towards the weekend. Both versions of our lamb stew (curried and Tunisian) have proved to be popular additions alongside the chili.

Deli Counter

The deli counter has been full since the beginning of the year. The great products that we receive from Seed to Sausage has bolstered your choices. The flavoured smoked bacon's are proving very popular items and are great additions to simple dishes.

In addition we still have smoked turkey breast plus regular and English style smoked bacon, just imagine a club sandwich with these ingredients.

In other news

As well as carrying some great local coffee we are now also have some tea. There are several different blends ranging from the classic black earl grey to a mixed berry white tea.

We have been posting a few recipes on the website, there will be more of them coming so keep checking. You will also be able to find a few printed copies in the store.
