Missing Cheeses

We recently had a visit from a department of the CFIA - they were checking up on our labeling of fresh meats, cheeses etc. As a result of the inspection we have been forced to stop the sale of Clarmell cheeses until we can resolve the labeling concerns raised by the CFIA. The main concern is the labeling and information on the cheeses before it arrives at the store. The cheeses can still be purchased at the farmers market or direct from Clarmell Farm. Everyone involved is working towards a fast resolution to this and we hope to have the cheeses available again soon.

Pastured Pork

The Berkshire pork is or rather will be back and available in store from the 26th July. We’ll still have some special pricing on this well raised pork. We only make a couple of varieties of sausage from this pork – our fresh hot and mild Italian so make sure you ask for some of those.


We’d like it if you would take the time to let us know where you first heard or found us. It’s completely anonymous and you just have to make a mark on the sheet.

We've added additional condiments to our shelves - Aunt Lulu's pepper jellies. What will you pair them with?

We've heard from Seed to Sausage that they are temporarily suspending production of their Chipotle chili bacon - We hope we have not seen the last of it.
