Manotick Village Butcher

Dickinson Day

With Dickinson day this coming weekend you will be able to grab a tasty burger or our new Oktoberfest style sausage at Knox Church. Why not drop by the shop afterwards to take some home with you. You will also find a range of sandwiches, Cornish pasties and Jamaican patty’s to take with you from the prepared counter. And don't forget those fabulous steaks for the BBQ.

Local Beef

This weekend you will find ground meat and (in store made) hamburger patties and beef sausages made from cattle from Dan O’Brien. As ever this meat is already well aged and you know that means “flavour”. Next week will see us with a side of Rose Stewarts’ Piedmontese beef in store. This famously lean beef will be available from Wednesday while it stays in the counter.

Heritage Pork

For all of you pork lovers; this week we were hoping to bring you a treat from our friends at the Frugal Farm. Yes one of their fabulous large black pigs. Unfortunately, due to some delivery issues outside of our control we are unable to have this fabulous meat this week. We hope to be able to arrange a new delivery in the near future. We do still have a great pork available in store as usual.

In Store Changes

For those of you who have been into the store recently you will have noticed a small change to our counter layout. Our “in store” prepared foods have been moved to the front case. This provides a little more room for Claudia’s “Gastronomic Creations”, Jamaican patties, Cornish pasties and deli meat sandwiches.
