Piedmontese Beef

YES it is back! The fabulously tasty and very lean beef of the Piedmontese is here again. As you are hopefully aware, it comes from one of our Savour Ottawa suppliers, Rose Stewart from Shimas farm near Chesterville. We took possession of a full side which means we will only have a limited supply of cuts for you. So if you really want to try this excellent meat you will want to come in early.

From the Frugal Farm

Another YES! The large black pig came in and we have some of this flavourful pork available for you. Even as this edition is being written we are utilizing as much of the animal as possible and are making some fantastic lard from the fat.

Sausages & Burgers

We have been busy making sausages and burgers for the BBQ. Many of these have frozen individually and been placed in our freezer. We have both plain and flavoured burgers and many of your favourite types of sausage; including the Baharat spiced Moroccan, the Italian Beef & Garlic. Look out for the Oktoberfest that was served at Knox Church for Dickinson Day.

In Store Changes

Our “in store” prepared foods have been moved to the front case. This provides a little more room for Claudia’s “Gastronomic Creations”, Jamaican patties, Cornish pasties and deli meat sandwiches.

Come in this weekend and see James putting his BBQing skills to the test.
